I'm an underwater photographer and visual storyteller based in Curaçao. My work grows out of curiosity, care, and a deepening relationship with the ocean — one that is still very much in progress.
I’m drawn to moments underwater that feel quiet, layered, and alive, and to the stories coral reefs tell when we take the time to really look.
Before focusing on photography, my path moved through nonprofit operations and community-based work, including time as Operations Manager at Lovin’ Spoonfuls Food Rescue. That experience taught me how much impact depends on unseen systems, shared effort, and showing up consistently — lessons that continue to shape how I approach creative and conservation work today.
Much of my learning has happened through travel and hands-on experience. I volunteered in India, Cabo Verde, and Italy, and finally got back into scuba diving (a dream since I was certified when I was 15). From there I found any opportunity to explore underwater, and began to understand the ocean not as a backdrop, but as an endless classroom of biodiversity. A photography opportunity eventually brought me to Curaçao, which became my home base.
I’m currently focused on developing my underwater photography and video work, and on sharing educational, thoughtful content about coral reef ecosystems. I don’t see this work as having tidy answers — only as an invitation to pay closer attention, ask better questions, and care more deeply. I’m open to professional opportunities and collaborations that align with this ongoing practice and with efforts to protect and restore our oceans.
I manage Digital Media for Reef Renewal USA, a non-profit based in the Florida Keys.
I work together with my husband at Kayacao a vacation rental service. When you dive with us, you can hire me for portraits and video.
